Sungha Jung (정성하; born September 2, 1996) is a South Korean acoustic finger-style guitarist who has risen to fame on YouTube and other sites. As of October,2012, his channel has over 17 million views and over 965,000 subscribers, with his videos getting a total of over 550 million views.^[1]

Sungha typically takes three days to learn and practice a new piece, and video-record it for upload onto YouTube.^[2] He learns and plays guitar pieces across a broad range of genres.

Sungha has won 15 awards on YouTube, including 6 "#1" awards. Sungha's video with the most views is the one which shows him playing the theme from "Pirates Of The Caribbean".

In 2010, he was featured on Narsha's solo album "Narsha" for the song "I'm in Love", and in 2011, he performed in the US with Trace Bundy, as well as touring in Scandinavia and Japan.^[1]

Sungha has composed 18 pieces as of February 2011, two of which are featured in his debut album, "Perfect Blue". He released his second album, "Irony", on 21 September 2011.

Sungha Jung, Remaja asal Korea Selatan yang lahir pada 2 september 1996 ini sungguh berbakat memainkan Guitar classic ,impiannya adalah menjadi pemain Fingerstyle classicyang handal, yang menjadi inspirasinya adalah ayahnya sendiri dan tentunya pemain-pemain gitar handal lainnya, dan inilah sedikit cuplikan profil yang saya ambil dari websitesunghajung.com , berikut cuplikannya:

Hi, aku Sungha Jung dari Korea Selatan.

Impian saya adalah menjadi gitaris fingerstyle profesional akustik.

Saya telah melihat ayah saya bermain gitar untuk sementara sebelum akhirnya melompat di atasnya sendiri tiga tahun lalu.

Saat ini, saya mengambil drum pelajaran dan pengajaran sendiri gitar fingerstyle.

Dulu aku tidak memiliki tab untuk musik yang saya bermain dalam video saya.

Aku hanya mendengarkan dan menjemput mereka langsung dari sumber suara dalam video yang tersedia di internet.

Namun, baru-baru ini, saya mulai bermain dengan tab asli setiap kali mereka yang tersedia untuk saya dengan milik penulis.

gitar tua saya adalah custom made oleh Selma agar sesuai dengan ukuran tubuh saya, dan di atasnya, Thomas Leeb menulis "Terus grooving kepada teman saya."

Pada 1 Januari 2009 Lakewood bertindak sebagai sponsor untuk gitar saya resmi.

Saya sangat berterima kasih kepada orang-gitaris terkemuka yang memiliki pengaruh besar pada bermain gitar saya.

Saya akan terus mempelajarinya dan belajar lebih banyak tentang interpretasi musik dan berbagai teknik bermain.

rutinitas praktek sehari-hari saya berlangsung selama satu hingga dua jam ketika sekolah terbuka, tapi saya bermain sampai tiga jam sehari selama waktu istirahat sekolah.

Biasanya diperlukan waktu saya dua sampai tiga hari untuk berlatih dan video tape sepotong baru, tetapi kadang-kadang sampai satu minggu untuk yang lebih sulit.

sungha jung bisa dijadikan inspirasi remaja saat ini, perjuangan yang dicapainya sangat tidaklah mudah, butuh keseriusan dan terus belajar,,

BIOGRAFI 

정성하 - Sungha is a 15 year old musical prodigy, acoustic fingerstyle guitarist from South Korea. It is his dream to become a professional fingerstyle guitarist.

Sungha had been watching his Dad play the guitar for a while before deciding to pick one up himself, only a few short years ago. When he is not in school, Sungha can be found practicing for up to three hours a day. Sungha uses a custom guitar to fit his body size, and on which Thomas Leeb wrote “Keep on grooving to my friend.”

He says it usually takes him about 3 days to learn, practice and then videotape a new song, which he then uploads to his Youtube profile. More difficult pieces can take him up to a week. He says he started off by learning music by-ear from the videos he watched online but has recently started using tabs that are available from the authors.

On his page you can find his renditions of artists like Elton John, The Beatles, Nirvana, Bon Jovi and many others. It’s hard to say where he will be in ten years if he keeps at this rate, but it is obvious he has a natural talent is destined for greatness. There’s no telling how far his skills can take him.

Aransemen ulang lagu ‘I Love You’ mengejutkan karena memberikan nuansa baru dalm versi akustik menggantikan musik aslinya dan penampilan atas lagu ‘Lonely’ menyentuh pemirsa dengan emosinya.

Jung Sung Ha adalah gitaris berbakat yang mengumpulkan lebih dari 300 juta penonton dengan video gitarnya di youtube. Dia terkenal pernah meng-cover banyak lagu 2NE1 sebelumnya dengan gayanya sendiri.

YG Entertainment, yang melihat video Jung Sungha, menawarkan untuk bekerja sama dengan gitaris ini dan dia pun langsung setuju karena ia adalah fans 2NE1 dan Big Bang. Member 2NE1 pun menikmati waktu bersamanya dan memintanya memainkan banyak lagu, dan Jung Sung Ha langsung memenuhi permintaan idolanya dengan improvisasi banyak lagu.
